REGINA MATER SERVICE-A-THON 2016
Presented by the Danze Family
November 12, 2016 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Our Lady’s Maronite Church 1320 E 51st St. Austin
The Service-a-thon is similar to a walk-a-thon with a twist: sponsor our kids as they complete service projects for area charities. Our school raises funds for our material needs, and we benefit others in the process. It’s a new way to pay it forward.
Funds raised will help build a new play area and garden to cultivate outdoor health and learning.
2016 Service Projects
- Centerpieces for Mobile Loaves and Fishes Thanksgiving Feast for the homeless
- Book drive benefiting the patients of Dell Children’s Hospital
- Holiday ornament kits for the children of St. Louise House
- Baby essentials kits for Catholic Charities
- Fleece blankets for the elderly clients of Meals on Wheels
How can you help?
- Become a business sponsor
- Make a pledge for a student
- Donate a silent auction item (Deadline Nov.1)
- Participate in the Service-a-thon: this event is open to the public and a great chance for children to make a difference serving the community with projects geared to their age group.
